Ohio trip, part 3

I spent Monday morning at the Holiday at Home festivities in Kettering.  I ran the 5K race in the morning.

I lived in Kettering for 5 years, and never attended the H@H parade.  It was fun!  I sat with some students, and waved at a bunch of students that walked in the parade.

Let me be clear: it was also the longest parade in history.  It rivaled the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, minus all the balloons. :)  But it was fun seeing all of my students.

I then spent the afternoon with two of my best friends in the whole world: Megan and Carol!  Every time I get to spend time with them, I laugh a lot and just feel completely encouraged.
